THE FANLISTING
A fanlisting is an online list of fans for a certain subject that does not always belong to them. Anything imaginable can become the center of a it -people, charcters, food, even websites. All you need to sign up is your name and country (required by TFL) and wohila! Often, the fanlisting offers additional content or is part of a larger fansite for the subject.

AIR GEAR
Air Gear, the last shounen series by the eccentric Oh!Great runs weekly in the popular Shounen Weekly and is slowly reaching its peak with vol 16.

The manga has no real plot like Tsubasa or Tenjo Tenge, it's basically revoloving about a junior high student and street gang member Ikki who is thrown overnight in the fascinating word of Air Trek (like inline skates, only more advanced with micro-engines in them so you can perform crazy tricks) and by a series of events he discovers the Wind Road, basically a road you can ride on the wind in the sky.
He decides then to leave all the fighting behind, to form a team in order to join in the A-T official tournament and to reach the top of it thus becoming the Sky King - the one that ownes the Wing Road. The best A-T riders are recognized by their roads and named kings. They will, of course, challenge our hero as he climbs the ranks meeting various enemies and friends, among them an enigmatic girl.

AirGear is a very cool manga I'd dare say: its highlights are the impressive art and panels as well as the presentation of the A-T world. Basically Oh!Great invented a whole new world with tons of action and cool tricks in it! It's a fun read (skip the echiness -_-'). I guarantee.

So what is Ringo's role? She is the heroine of AirGear and one of the four Noyamano sister that host Ikki in their house as their servant! XD
Ringo is the one that, after realizing Ikki is hooked on Air Trek, introduces him to the real beauty of flying in the sky and lends him his first pair of A-T. She, like Ikki, is very much in love with the stuff and says she enjoys doing tricks far more then fighting. Of course she has a crash on Ikki and is doing everything possible to help him become the best, but is not often rewarded. (Ikki is a jerk!)
She is the heir of a legendary team named Sleeping Forest that holds great power and respect in the A-T world and she hides her real, royal identity. Ringo has vast knowledge of Air Treck and seemingly a grat deal of fighting experience as a top class (!?).
Oh isn't she great? I really like Ringo. She is my fav chara of Air Gear (well, and Kazu).
